What is Strawberry Moon 2019 ?
Strawberry Moon does not mean that some special changes will be visible in the moon, the name was given by Algonquin tribes, at this time they were suppose to begin harvesting wild strawberries. Moon looks little reddish on this day.
In Europe, people call it Honey Moon because marriage time starts in june, Mead Moon or the Full Rose Moon. Whereas in the Southern Hemisphere, it is known as Oak Moon, Cold Moon or Long Night Moon.
Why Moon Look Reddish ?
The reason of reddish tone of moon is that the orbit of the moon the moon around the Earth is almost has parallel plane as the orbit of Earth around the sun, the difference is of only about 5 degrees.

The Strawberry Moon will begin at 2 pm IST on 17 June, Monday and will continue for three full days around the same time, from Sunday night to Tuesday evening, according to NASA.
